Our planning process allows us to maintain integrity with each client we work with. It also keeps our clients on track, moving towards their goals, and sets identifiable expectations of our firm and what we are trying to accomplish.
Is There a Fit? This is your first meeting with us and runs about an hour and a half. We aim to get a clear understanding of your goals and dreams, as well as set the expectations of our relationship. We really use this meeting so both parties understand the mutual relationship, and for us, to make sure we can manage your expectations. We look at financial services as taking on a lifelong responsibility and we want to take on clients as such, for life. We do not ask for a full commitment at this meeting, but rather we give everyone 48 hours to think things over with their spouse and/or family.
This meeting is held about one week after the FIT Meeting and normally runs about two hours. This is where all the pertinent financial data is gathered and reviewed. We take a very comprehensive approach, and therefore need every itty bitty detail to formulate the right financial plan to work towards your needs and goals.
This meeting is generally about two weeks after the Discovery Meeting and is also about two hours. We process all of the documents we gathered in order to do our best soul searching to come up with your personal financial plan. We prepare a complete report of recommendations based on our findings and on what we know about you and your unique goals. At this meeting, we read, review and explain our recommendations and look at your retirement projection. We will cover retirement income, asset protection, income taxes, investment planning and estate planning.
The meeting is held about one week after the Recommendation Meeting and runs about one hour. Here is where we prepare all of the necessary paperwork for us to handle the investments that we will manage.
We generally hold annual Review Meetings between October 25th and December 15th. We also use this time to analyze your tax situation and make any necessary changes before the end of the year to reduce income taxes. Of course we can, and do, have meetings throughout the year as needed. We are constantly reviewing, monitoring and updating your plan, so that you stay on track to pursue your goals and dreams.
